Giving your time and talent is a great way to support the children and families of Bright Beginnings. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals who want to support the important work we do.

Please note, due to ongoing health and safety precautions, BBI has extremely limited opportunities for volunteer groups. If your group is interested in organizing an in-kind donation drive or book drive, we’d love to hear from you!

Volunteer Opportunities
Classroom Assistants
Teachers often need support in the classroom to work with children in small groups in different learning areas in the classrooms. Volunteers may be asked to work one-on-one with children, clean the classroom and assisting with various administrative tasks. If you are planning a volunteer activity for your group, we are limited to 2-3 volunteer classroom assistants per visit.
Volunteer Readers
Literacy is such an important focus for our early childhood program, so we are always in need of volunteers to read to BBI students either inside the classroom or outside (weather permitting).
School Beautification Project (suggested for groups of 5 or fewer)
At regular intervals, our facilities require routine cleaning and maintenance including cleaning the playground equipment, washing the walls and disinfecting toys and indoor play areas.
Event Volunteers
Throughout the year, BBI hosts a variety of events for BBI students and their families. These events are supported in large part by our passionate and committed volunteers.
