Coalitions

  • Alongside organizations like DCAEYC BBI works with Under 3 DC Coalition of parents with young children, early childhood educators, advocates, community-based organizations, and health professionals, to advocate for the early years of a child’s life.

  • As part of the DC Home Visiting Council, BBI works with a group of home visiting providers, local government agency representatives, early childhood advocates, managed care organizers, and other partners to promote systems-level change that supports child and family development through home visiting programs.

  • Working with Urban Institute’s Measure4Change, BBI consistently improves our data collection and analysis process so we can improve our programming year after year. We are always looking for ways to better serve our families.

  • In coalition with Spaces in Action, BBI works alongside families and partner organizations to advance access to early childhood education for Black and Brown children in DC and support efforts for community improvement through voting access and more.

  • In coalition with the DC Head Start Association, BBI advocates for policies and practices that enable the best, most comprehensive early childhood development programs for children and families.
