WAYS TO GIVE
There are many ways to support the children and families of Bright Beginnings. Whether you want to give books, children’s clothing, or your time and expertise. All kinds of donations help families and children thrive and move towards self-sufficiency. We couldn't do it without you! Whether you give, volunteer, or attend a BBI event, your generosity helps support DC families and children.

Monthly Giving
Setting up a recurring, monthly gift is a great way to sustain BBI operations all year long. Many donors find it easier to budget for a smaller amount on a monthly basis than a single larger gift at year end. Sustainers provide BBI with reliable, ongoing support to help BBI families learn and grow all year long.
-
Matching Gifts and Workplace Giving Programs
Employees can double or even triple their donations to Bright Beginnings through a Matching Gift program, thanks to the generosity of countless corporations and foundations. Matching Gift donations support our mission and give children in DC a healthy start and the opportunity to learn and thrive. Check with your HR department about matching gift options at your workplace.
Bright Beginnings participates in employer-sponsored payroll deduction campaigns. We are a charity member of Network For Good, YourCause LLC, Cybergrants, United Way, and Benevity, as well as others. Check with your HR department to see if your employer participates. We can also help your business create a customized online donation page to support employee giving.

Create Your Own Fundraiser
Setting up your own fundraising campaign to benefit the children and families of BBI is a great way to honor that special someone, or yourself! Whether it’s a birthday, or anniversary, a special occasion, or an athletic challenge, there are endless ways that you can raise funds.

Donate Stock

Due to space limitations, we cannot accept used toys, furniture, clothing and household items. Please our Development Department or call 202-868-2495 to schedule a time to drop off your donations or to determine the immediate need. Thank you in advance for supporting our program!
