As the Director of Community Engagement, Ms. McLean aims to leverage her extensive experience to foster a welcoming environment for families at Bright Beginnings. She believes that strong community ties are essential for student success and is committed to building partnerships that empower parents and guardians.
Ms. McLean is particularly passionate about advocating for underrepresented groups and ensuring that every family has access to the resources they need. Her Community Engagement Team will work diligently to create a support network that addresses the unique challenges faced by families in the community. By connecting families with various resources, she hopes to bridge gaps and create a holistic support system that contributes to the well-being of children and their families. With her passion, dedication, and leadership, she is determined to make a significant impact, ensuring that Bright Beginnings is not just a school, but a vibrant hub for family engagement and community growth.
Ms. McLean is a native Washingtonian and a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality moments with her children, and participating in community service projects. She is a firm believer in leading by example and hopes to inspire her children and others to be active participants in their communities. Through her leadership at Bright Beginnings, Ms. McLean aspires to cultivate a sense of belonging and pride among families, making a lasting difference in the lives of children and their caregivers.
