Jerrod Hines has been educating and serving children and families in the District of Columbia for nearly twenty years. Mr. Hines has served as a teacher, Dean of Students and Assistant Principal in elementary, middle and high schools across The District. One of Mr. Hines greatest strengths is building relationships with students, staff, and families to ensure that there is collaboration and connection from school to home. As an Assistant Principal and Dean of Students, Mr. Hines built programming for students to foster greater engagement in school, resulting in increased attendance and decreased suspensions. He also has significant experience providing restorative responses to conflict, including between students, staff, parents, and the community. Mr. Hines supports the strategic day-to-day organization, while overseeing family programming.
